Srushti started to get ready for her UPSC examination in her 3rd year as a student in engineering. She was unsure if engineering is the right career for her. Her goal became apparent as she focused more on the civil job. The parents of her insisted that she study for civil services and pursue it a profession serving the public. Her motivation never waned, and remained focused solely at her dream to become an IAS. The work required to get UPSC. While she was studying in engineering, she used to also work on different subjects for UPSC. Everyday, she set aside time to work on her preparation for the test. It took her just one month preparing for the exams and stayed completely off of the internet and social daily life. Her belief is that staying focused solely on what needs to be done is essential to pass this test. She was extremely committed to passing the test and made a great deal of effort. Everyday, she read the newspaper to keep on top of the latest news. Additionally, she got lots of help online collecting different study materials and viewing Rajya Sabha TV.
